Thanks to its Italian heritage, A De Cecco is a leader in restoration and specialist tile finishes such as terrazzo. The business was chosen to carry out work for Lovell, the UK’s leading social housing provider, to Brandon Court, a residential building in Motherwell. Using it specialist knowledge and expertise, A De Cecco transformed the worn and degraded flooring within the entrance area and restored the terrazzo finish to its former glory.

Wyvie Lodge the Black Isle Cromarty Firth

Wyvie lodge is a 165 year old hunting shooting& fishing lodge on a 26 thousand acre estate in the Scottish highlands.Under the current American owners the estate & lodge have been restored totheir former glory! A DeCecco ltd were asked to replicate the ground floor external balcony floor tiling employing the dust pressed method of manufacture which historic Scotland had insisted upon to ensure precise replication of the now worn & damaged existing tiles. This called for  a highly specialised manufacture to copy the original method of construction , fortunately A De Cecco were able to source such a manufacturer and commissioned a one off production run of 44 sq meters which were subsequently fixed by A De Cecco & grouted in original limestone colour to complete the final restoration , making this highly unique project an outstanding tribute to the skills employed in the tile industry 165 years ago and indeed today also.
